As always its that time again, but this photo was made far easier… I met up with a bunch of local photographers in a sunflower field! My good friend and all things lighting Kent Sparkman took this photo for me, it wouldn’t be right without embellishing on his helpfulness. He is the lighting guru if I have a question he’s got an answer, so its wasn’t out of the norm for him to bring an alien bee out to the field after all we’ve done it before but this time it was with me and Lily! Lily’s arm was still in a huge cast and we did our best to hold it back but she is 6 after all!

Holy Cow! I am with Jules on this that I have never seen a real field like that in my life! How do I get me one of those??? This picture is just beautiful of you two and I sure hope this gets printed and put in Lily’s room. Hope her arm is healing quickly!
lol well they are on every corner here… there are fields and fields of them, farmers harvest them before cotton for extra profit. These where in the process of being harvested so the bees where every where!

Oh my, that sunflower field reminds me of living in Italy. There were fields of them just like that everywhere. So so pretty. You and your beautiful girl are the perfect foreground to the stunning backdrop. How lucky are you to have a lighting guru!
