This school year is coming to an end, and this means changes. My baby… I mean big boy is all done with preschool and will be in Kindergarten next year. I’m not ready for this, I know when they start elementary it all goes by so quickly! I love my little boy, I’m so proud and can’t wait o see all that he does. And what would a boy be without his two best buds, so thankful for these kids and their momma’s!

So we had a freak snow storm, Lubbock hasn’t seen snow like this since 1983 so it sort of shuts everything down! We wen’t from Sunday in the high 60′s to freezing wind and SNOW! We had two snow days from school, which is CRAZY! We shoveled tons of the white stuff and the kids and dogs had a blast playing in it!

They let me and my crazy family back in the circle for another year! This go around I will only be doing the me and mine, post. True to form my original plan failed! My sweet Lily was supposed to have a field trip to the air port and I thought oh… yeah that would be a different and neat place to take our photo… but 45 min before we where to leave the airport canceled on her class So then cut to a few hours later and yes this is it, at home with too very nutty children and crazy dogs!

This is the last post for the year… I have so very much enjoyed this and looking back is so much fun. This weeks theme is “last day” mine is easy, nothing fancy or crazy… sitting around with the people I love the most. I look forward every day for our down time in the evening, I crave this time when life is so hectic and these moments don’t come enough. Just to all be together enjoying one another company is all I ask for. So on any last day for me this is what I want a room full of love.

Well this is the end of me and mine for 2012, and wow where has this year gone? I’m very thankful for this year but I’m always ready for a new one. For this post my photographer friend Tiffany Christie was such a sweet friend and we exchanged mini photo shoots for Christmas cards. It’s so nice to have a friend like her!

This is the second to last ‘me and mine’ for this year! I’m so thankful to have been included in this and with all the wonderfully talented photographer. I try and count my blessing every day but Thanksgiving being this month its even more present, I’m so beyond thankful for my family. We might not be perfect, but we all love each other very much!

Our evenings are now spent in a mad dash to do homework and prepare for the next day. I’m thankful for the quite time readying that we have, and see my children grown and learn.

Lately it seems like every day is a struggle, but with lots of prayer we are making it through! Here are just a few struggles that I expreneced yesterday {please be kind to my iphone photos}. Twice a week right after school we take sister to physical therapy, the kids are not to fond Jake hates sitting for 45 minutes, and I had the nurve to update my phone and use the lock out app thing so he could only play one thing on my phone! This is what I got from him… a huge pouty face and when I wasnt ready a head-but to my arm that really hurt!

And then theres Lily, doing all the work she can to get her arm straight, she had estim therapy which was okay until they turned it up and took the heat off her arm… soon after this photo she started to cry, remember we do this twice a week I wish i could make it all better.

So I missed the last group post and I hate that, but I’m going to try and never skip again. But all that being said I almost didn’t make this post I knew it was coming but I have two kids in school, a photography business, and a home to take care of and oh yea I put myself back into school! My life is crazy right now… that is all I know!

I had to share a photo of Lily and myself and her new pet guinea pig “Rocky”. Rocky is her early birthday gift, and she loves her very much its so sweet. I’m quite fond of her myself… she loves to cuddle! It’s hard to believe that my little girl will be seven in two days! I’m in shock… these past seven years have raced by but they have been so fantastic and I have so many great memories. I’m so thankful and blessed to have this little girl in my life.
